This is a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500, but do you notice anything a little different? Well, this 3500 has been made wider by a foot, making an already large and imposing pickup even more massive.
The bizarre truck is currently for sale on Craigslist in Spokane Valley, Wash. And according to the seller, over 1,400 man hours have been put into it. The list doesn’t detail how the 3500 was expanded, but we can’t imagine it was particularly easy.

The extra width is immediately evident from the front where the truck’s grilles are much wider than standard. A two-piece windshield has also been fitted and located directly behind the cabin is a king-size bed, possibly larger than any other pickup currently on sale.
Various interior modifications were also made. For example, there is now an absolutely massive center console wrapped in leather. The cabin has also been fitted with a TV screen at the rear.
On the mechanical side, the truck is powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that the truck has a solid front axle with coil spring suspension, a solid rear axle with longitudinal leaf springs, a stainless steel exhaust system, a front stabilizer bar, heavy duty shock absorbers and a fuel tank of 35 gallons.
The truck was listed for $ 31,999. That’s a lot of money, but it’s not entirely unreasonable considering all the work that has been done on the vehicle.
